Went for a quick transit stay to spend the night. They even arranged the pick-up from the railway station which was very convenient given the time we arrived. From the welcome drink that was served even at late at night to the dinner served before checking out was all exceptional. The staff was very professional respectful. They humbly attended our requests The food and the serving was top-notch The location is easy to reach and the hotel premise has a lovely landscape with a pool Will visit again. I would recommend this to anyone who is planning to travel to Minneriya / Hingurakgoda.

Once we left the crowded Colombo we arrived to this magical and relaxing place, surrounded by nature and a few minutes away from Polonnaruwa. The place, the room, the bath, the hospitality and the GREAT host that we had really made our visit worth it. Fantastic accommodation with a great garden, rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The staff is very friendly. The dining area is a great asset and the food is fantastic. The pool is fantastic with so many nice seats around it. All in all a very relaxed and nice experience to have stayed here for 2 nights. High value for money. And Tanu, thank you for helping us getting our phone back which we left in the tuk tuk, highly appreciated your efforts in this!

The host, Mina, is exceptionally kind. She wants all her guests to be happy, comfortable and 'well feed'!!! Her cooking is also exceptional. The accommodation is simple, in a good way. Kithmi was the highlight of our trip! It felt like home from the moment we arrived. Hemantha and his sister were amazing hosts, they helped us with every little detail of our stay and cooked delicious food. We told them we love local breakfasts and then the following mornings they cooked us hoppers and dal etc. so if you like it local make sure you say so! WiFi was excellent and AC was perfect. Room very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the monkeys! Weather was lovely in July. If you’re short on time you could do Pollonaruwa in one day. The ancient city tour in the morning 8-12 and then safari (Mineriya or Kaudulla) in the afternoon 1-6. Not too much else to do in the area aside from reading and eating good local food. Highly recommend this place and we would visit again!
