A hidden gem that truly exceeded our expectations! Thank you for making our short stay so pleasant. A huge thank you to our very friendly and helpful host and the entire staff. We enjoyed a super delicious dinner and breakfast, both provided with excellent service. Our apartment had a nice view and was incredibly comfortable, calm, and featured an incredibly comfortable bed. The location was perfect for a nice and beautiful evening walk, and we loved being able to buy the best fresh vegetables for a cheap price nearby. We also appreciated the safe vehicle parking area. We'll be sure to return when we're next in the area. Highly recommended!

The house is located about 10 minutes from the end of stage 17, very conveniently located around the city. The house, the hospitality and the venue were all amazing. The host is a super super nice guy. The bathroom was perfect and each room came with its own fan. I would totally recommend this place to anyone, especially those on the pekoe trail.

Everything was the absolute best we've experienced in all of sri lanka !! We've been all over and it was the best we could have ever dreamed of! Highly recommend to all ! Waterfall view , beautiful terraced farming , amazing hosts who cook delicious breakfast with such love everyday! Treat yourself and truly experience serenity at serenity cottage . The place was exactly as shown in the images. Kitchen appliances were very sufficient and helpful. The hospitality was excellent . Place is spacious and very lovely surrounded by trees.

Amila was a very helpful host. He was in Colombo when he stayed in his place. But he kept contacting us enquiring about comfort in his house and our plans. His mother is taking care of the place. House was neat and cosy. Good wifi, hot water, full kitchen and there is washing machine. ( Kitchen and washing machine little extra) we are pure vegetarians. So in Ella where there is no veg only restaurant this house was a bliss. Just 10 minutes away from city centre and station. I would definitely recommend this place to all. They are graceful people.

Wow!! We cannot say enough about the hosts and this property! The hosts (Tissa and his family) were caring, attentive, and warm. We ordered breakfast each morning and it exceeded our expectations. The hosts offer a variety of services that we did not take advantage of (such as scooter rentals). We did book a massage and were happy with the process and service. The property is a private cottage down a steep slope with an incredible view and only a short walk (10 minutes depending on your pace) from the shops and restaurants in Ella. We enjoyed the sounds of nature rather than the town--perfect!! Due to its location, it is not accessible for everyone. In that case, consider the hosts other property up on the road Tree Cool.
