I absolutely loved staying here! I was treated so well by the staff and owner from the moment I arrived. The entire property and room were incredibly gorgeous. You can tell they put in a ton of time, thoughtfulness, and effort to make this a wonderful place to stay. The bed felt like heaven, the breakfast was good, and they helped to arrange airport transportation. I wish I could have stayed another night, definitely recommend!

This place was our best stay so far in Sri Lanka , the staff a very friendly and got upgraded to triple room with pool view, and welcomed us with drinks and smiles , the villa has two swimming pool which are stunning and clean, we couldn’t get enough swimming even it was raining but was good experience, the breakfast was great and overall the treatment we got was good , offering us complimentary water and drinks when we was in the pool was a great touch from the staff , definitely worth the stay and will recommend, will visit again once I come back to Sri Lanka

This was our first stop in sri lanka and I can say it was my favourite one. I regret we didn’t stay longer. We were welcomed with a fresh fruit juice. The room was exceptional (way better than on the pictures!) very bright, clean and the “outside” bathroom was absolutely amazing! The big balcony with view on the garden was so relaxing and has a comfy sofa to drink your coffee in the morning. Very good breakfast. The most peaceful place in Unawatuna. Like an oasis. Perfectly located in front of Unawatuna beach. The staff was the greatest and most helpful! (Especially the manager!) They also helped us find a scooter which was great. We hope to come back very soon!

First of all they were kind enough to upgrade our room and then they even allowed us to do a late checkout without an additional fee. Top location if you like to go swimming in the ocean, they have a towel and shower outside. Delicious breakfast, comfy bed, spacious room, new bathroom...and what else? Staff super friendly, helpful and accommodating. Bohoma stutyi!

Total experience at the Fort Edge Retreat was amazing. We loved the beautiful view from any corner of the hotel. Property located on top of a mountain where you can nicely see greenery fields, southern tea estates, early morning sunrise and horizon in the evening. Most pictures uploaded by the owner doesn't really showcase the breathtaking view from the property, they must do a nice photo/ videos shoot using a drone. Beautiful property, loved the view of the greenery village, you can enjoy horizon from the room balcony. There are few peacocks always coming to the hotel property. Surroundings very calm and you will mostly hear birds singing. Friendly Manager and rest of the staff members at the property, they go for an extra mile to make the stay happy, comfortable and safe.
