I had the best stay at Hiri Fortress. Suren couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating and his family made me feel very at home. The rooms are very spacious, clean, quiet, comfortable and private. The location is perfect, surrounded by nature and so close to the beach and cafes/restaurants. I highly recommend staying here, it’s a quiet peaceful haven, I’ll definitely be back again.

Super nice and perfect located accommodation in the heart of Hiriketiya. The next ATM and supermarket is just 5 minutes by walk. Moreover the Hiriketiya Bay ist just a 5 minutes walk away. These are the nicest people in Sri Lanka. They go above and beyond for you, always going that little extra mile for no reason other than being kind. The place is amazing with it’s own pool and a short walk to a beautiful beach you will have almost all to yourself. The food they cook is also great, we highly recommend the grilled prawn or their rice and curry. My daughter had her birthday while we stayed here and they made her feel very special. We highly recommend this place to everyone, it is simply perfect. We will definitely return.
