Staff was extremely friendly. The hotel is surrounded by gorgeous tea plantations and has a scenic view. Rooms were clean and spacious. The bathroom was very clean. The food was extremely delicious. There is a restaurant in the hotel so lunch/dinner is provided on request. Tea/coffee is provided anytime of the day upon request. The hotel is located about 30 minutes away from Nuwara Eliya town, but you can hire tuktuk or use public transport to reach the hotel. It's located on the main road itself. Friendly Hills Hotel is great for a vacation with family and friends. I highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a great place to stay in Nuwara Eliya.

The View!! What a stunning view and location, so glad we stopped here. Easy to jump off the local bus just outside, and easy to see the local bus coming up the main road to jump back on the next day. The views and the sunset were amazing! It's close to the waterfall where you can walk up a path with steps to the top. Nice cafe and restaurant. Breakfast was excellent, we were offered a box to take the cakes we couldn't finish. We really enjoyed our stay the staff were all helpful. Huge bed. Nicely decorated room, better than the photos. Clean bathroom. Easy to walk to Kingswood Tea Factory for a short tour and tea tasting (no charge).

It was an amazing place to stay with loads of character. The staff were always helpful with anything we needed and the room was made up each day, they even folded our clothes and went over and above with room cleanliness. It’s a little out of town but we wanted that for something a bit quieter. It cost around 600 rupees in a tuk tuk to town. I highly recommend staying here.

It's a five star hotel with a well equipped spa, a heated pool and very professional staff members. All that in a magical location. Don't think just book! My thanks to Natasha, who helped me get to the hotel safely.

We spent two nights at this hotel and we regret it... we regret that it was only two nights, because our stay here was phenomenal! We only discovered on our second day just how exquisite the food is here—it was honestly the best meal we had during our entire trip to Sri Lanka. The comfort of the hotel is world-class, and the staff were incredibly polite and helpful throughout our stay. The view was also breathtaking and the atmosphere was so relaxing. We will definitely be back!

The hotel was completely new – everything was very clean, tidy, and beautiful🩷The staff were extremely helpful, answered all our questions, and gave us great advice. We stayed on the first floor, but the mountain view from the second floor must be absolutely stunning. Breakfast was very generous and delicious. Highly recommended!
