We had a wonderful stay here and felt very welcome from the very beginning. The host was in great contact with us even before our arrival and greeted us with two complimentary drinks, which was a lovely start to our stay. He even picked fresh coconuts for us directly from the palm tree in the garden – such a special and authentic touch. The house itself is beautiful, very modern, and clean. The pool is refreshing and perfect for cooling down. The only small thing we missed were a few more sun loungers by the pool – otherwise everything was great. We slept very well during our stay. The house has several rooms, but it can also be booked entirely as a private villa, which would be perfect for larger groups. We stayed in the Superior Family Room with a private bathroom and balcony, which was very comfortable. Guests can also use the kitchen, which is very convenient. The location is another big plus. It’s away from the busy Colombo hustle, which makes it a peaceful place to relax and unwind. The view over the rice fields is beautiful and creates a calm, relaxing atmosphere. It’s a perfect place to stay for one or two nights while visiting Colombo – or even longer if you come with a group. The host is always doing his best to make everything possible for his guests. He is very active around the property and often moving through the garden taking care of things, but that never bothered us at all. On the contrary, it made us feel well looked after and in good hands. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.
