We arrived at the hotel unplanned and without much thought. Staff welcomed us really friendly. Drinking water stations at every floor. Room was large, really good looking, very clean with a wonderful bathroom. You may get all hygiene amenities at the reception if you need some. We were not planning on getting a hotel that day thus it was a real saver. Public transport just behind the corner and in 10-15 minutes you are in a city center.

On our checkin , David was very friendly , helpful. When we enquired about what are the tourist attractions nearby he told us where he took his daughter to and how much she loved the visit.At checkout we met a lady ( Sorry cant remember the name but I remember she is from Mauritius) was very friendlya and helpful. She even took our family pictures on our request. Mercure stay is memorable for us and the location is great too.

Loved the vibe of this hotel - quirky decor and very comfortable and quiet room. Food was great in the restaurant although very busy so needed to book. We didn't have breakfast in the room rate so went to the Mama Bakery cafe next door. Public transport was free and the tram stop was only a 10 min walk. Luxembourg was a stopover for us en route to Germany so we weren't expecting much it was a complete surprise and we loved it! Underground parking was great. Loved the roof top bar!
