Set in a building dating from 1864 in Monte Carlo, Hôtel de Paris has a wine cellar and is located next to the Casino de Monaco. The opulence, the luxury. We have had the best time ever! Celebrating NY was so much fun, as we were given a suite facing the water, the fireworks has happened right in front of our balcony. Sipping on champagne, we have celebrated in style. The food was excellent. The bar downstairs was fantastic. We will come back.

For a 3 star hotel, this is great. Service to the room is perfect. The pool is a tad small, but quite fun when you have helicopters landing and you can watch! A tad noisy though if you want to relax. The breakfast I had in bed was to die for. I can only imagine what else they can offer.
If you like clean and safe places with some of the masterpieces of architecture surrounding you and a Mediterranean vibe, which are not a touristic creation but have a history behind - this might be a cherry picking destination for you. I think a weekend or a longer weekend is enough to enjoy the place.
Staying at the Hermitage hotel was luxurious & such a handy location close to all main attractions, Casino & to the best shops Versace, Prada, YSL, Chanel, Gucci, LV & more. We were lucky to have gorgeous weather!
Fantastic city. with plenty of places deserving visit: the Casino place, the corniche to Larvotto, Jardins Exotique, the oceanographic Museum, etc. Getting there is very easy, the Train station of Monaco is well connected with Italy and France cities
It's everything you imagine. Clean, litter free, very glamourous. I suspect I liked it in November because of the temperature & it wasn't too busy. It can be challenging to get where you want to go - I hadn't realised that it was on so many levels & getting from one level to another challenged us occasionally. It wasn't as expensive as I anticipated but I didn't find any corner shops to stock up with missing items either.
You would need to ensure that you plan well as the cost of everything is high unless you research a little, It is a beautiful place to be, really clean and excellent scenery. The shops are exclusive, expensive and definitely worth a visit to the shopping centers even if just browsing. English is widely spoken and most people i encountered were polite, helpful and friendly.
The hotel staff - the reception woman and especially the concierge, Patrick - were fantastic. Very friendly and extremely helpful. Room was great. We had an excellent stay.
