PortugalWe had a wonderful stay and would happily return. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with everything we needed for a relaxing visit. Our room was really big and they had a great pool. What also stood out was the staff, who were incredibly lovely, friendly, and always willing to help. NetherlandsThe hotel is not too big and because of that it was much more easy to meet other guests. The rooms are spacious and very nicely decorated. The daily breakfast was great as well. The hotel is located a bit far from the center but you can easily take a taxi. The hosts are so kind, helpful and welcoming. They always make sure you have everything you need! I would definitely come again!

With the flexibility of switching between the beach which felt almost private, to a clean pool, to a balcony with a great view. We highly recommend the Villa’s for a visit to holbox.
Gibran and Gabi were great hosts and had plenty of recommendations on activities, restaurants and logistics. They made us feel very much at home!

It has its own pace. The people are friendly. Most everything is walkable. The ferry to and from the island is easy and are plentiful. Find the time of year when it’s not overly crowded and you’ll have a fantastic stay.

good and friendly people, beach town with all the modern day amenities and a good selection of restaurants of different well prepared cuisine to chose from. We walked or taxied around for the most part with the average taxi cost from hotel to town center was around CDN$16 to $20 one way.

It is a cozy island but if it rains, it gets very dirty.
It is a cozy island but if it rains, it gets very dirty. Difficult to go around the city due flooded streets. It is certainly not cheap.
I would suggest to go there only if you are planning to spend few days. If not, it is not worth it.

We decided to go to Holbox thinking we were going to a more cultural, less touristy place. There are quite a lot of tourists there and a lot of motorcycles and 4-wheel vehicles making it quite busy and loud.
We did enjoy biking to the beach on the west end of the island , the massages on the beach and the bioluminescence tour. Alll great 👍
The ferries run on time and regularly.

Absolutely stunning.
Absolutely stunning. Spent 10 days driving around the Yucatán Peninsula and Holbox Island was our absolute favorite part. We will definitely be back to spend a longer stay. People are friendly and welcoming, water is stunning, and we loved the sand streets with no cars, only UTVs.

Holbox is very pretty and calm island if you wanna some relax , no cars walk or bike. Both beaches are amazing and you can walk along. Only think we didn't like it was some bars close to beach as directly they ask to spend 500 pesos just to sit in front of the sea even the bar was empty. Food very tasty. We ate breakfast and dinner in restaurant Casa Alebrije very nice staff and tasty food. Enjoy your holiday 😃

Charming boutique hotel in a quiet but great location on Holbox. Alberto and his team were very accommodating and friendly. The breakfast was a continental and all homemade and if you wanted eggs or other things the food was excellent. They also offer evening meals as well. Short taxi rides for 200 pesos into the town which was vibrant and great restaurants and bars plus shops!
You can walk along the beach 🏖️ for about 20 minutes and also get to the hotel. Highly recommended

Incredible luxury boutique resort on Holbox, with a very well kept private beach. The room was a great size with a large double bed and a day bed/sofa. The shower was also really nice. It was about a 20 minute walk from the main town, which meant it was nice and quiet on the beach. The staff were really attentive and you could order anything from the menu by text to whichever part of the hotel you were in (restaurant, beach bar, poolside or on the beach loungers).

If you’re looking for a laid back area of Holbox with an understated luxurious feel this is the place for you. You get what’s advertised a boutique hotel on the beach. Continental breakfast is lovely - fruit, yogurt, granola, bread and jam/compote of the day with coffee top ups. You have the option to upgrade your breakfast with eggs various style / classic Mexican breakfasts for 100 peso.

This boutique hotel is new and is soooo nice. Every detail is considered had designed. Hot water, bug comfy bed, nice large fan with mood lighting and air con. The balcony doors are great to block out sound and mosquitoes and the curtains block out the sunrise. Great stay!!!
Also right next to the beach and the main high street.

Very nice hotel. I like the style and vibe of the hotel. Nice and helpful staff. It is only a 10 min walk to the center of Isla Holbox. A few minutes to the beach. Just perfect!
