Peace and Enjoying We spent two nights in this special place, which is more than a hotel. You come into the large areal and the view of the buildings, gardens, pathways is breathtaking. The peacocks which are wondering around make it complete. The room we had was a double room, and it had all you need, large shower etc., coffee machine. The buildings are renovated in a very tasteful way, mostly brown and golden colors. The restaurant is great, you sit on the terrace with the view onto the garden, the food was excellent, so was the wine. Breakfast was equally great. There is a wonderful pool behind the restaurant, outside tables and deckchairs. The staff are very professional and friendly. Very Sorry we had to leave.

Our stay at Puerto del Cielo was one of those experiences that stay with you. We stayed in an apartment with a balcony and outdoor bathtub, perfectly positioned right on the beach — the sound of the sea is constant, soothing, and unforgettable. The owners, Randy and Gill, are exceptionally attentive hosts. They always go the extra mile and offer help in any situation — in our case, they kindly assisted during a brief health issue, which we appreciated deeply. Their warmth and genuine care make this place truly special. The breakfast was excellent, freshly prepared and full of flavor. The whole setting is all about blending completely with nature — you’ll see lizards walking across the terrace, feel the sea breeze, and enjoy the peaceful rhythm of the surroundings. Superb. Absolutely beautiful property. The room is tucked away so it feels private and secluded, all the fittings are very high quality. The service was extremely attentive and food was all great.

I could not recommend this hotel more. Everything was impeccable! Room was large, super clean, pool area was amazing and quiet. Also, the personnel did everything to make us feel at home. Location is perfect as well, close to shops, restaurants and main sights. Do not hesitate to book here when visiting Mérida!!
