Exceptionally clean. Friendly Hostel environment with shared kitchen and dining room. Owners were very pleasant, helpful and responsive. Private, walled garden and dipping pool were beautifully appointed and lovely to use. Zoo, park and hospitals close by. Lots of interesting events happened in the park during our stay - music, ethnic market (temporary visit), Dinosaur exhibit (also temporary)! Some local stores - food, stationary, computer and print services pharmacy all within easy walking distance. Easy access to public transport for more distant destinations like more central shopping and markets if you know what you are looking for (ask the owners).. I'd definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay at Casitas Mérida. We stayed for three days and never had any issues. The casitas have everything you need for your stay: coffee, water, a great shower, and even a pool. We also loved the attention to detail in the design and décor of the place, the atmosphere that William and Tariq create, and what wonderful hosts they are. We only had the chance to meet William, but he was excellent: he offered us a glass of wine, helped us open the garage, and was always attentive to everything. We also fell in love with Chaac. We would definitely recommend Casitas Merida!

We stayed for 4 nights. It is a very clean, bright and updated apartment with all the basic appliances and dishes one needs. Comfortable bed and hot shower. The bed is huge, comfortable and the bedroom is located in the back, so it is decently quiet at night. The host let us check in early and was responsive via WhatsApp.

Casa Itsa was s a great location for a long term stay. Our Host and housekeepers did a great job of keeping the pool area and apartment lovely and clean. It was very easy to get around without renting a car. the neighborhood was busy but in our little compound by the pool it was peaceful and quiet. Bed firm but comfortable. Felt safe here walking around and using public transportation. Laundry service near by. Was a perfect choice and I have no complaints.
