This hotel is conveniently very close to the Merida airport. It is a very clean, comfortable hotel with a lovely pool and nice rooms. The restaurant is very good. You can eat indoors or outdoors. The staff were very friendly and accommodating of my group of 12 (7 rooms). For the location and the quality, it is reasonably priced.

The staff was amazing. And so is the hostel. The room was quite big, with 2 bathrooms in it and very clean. There is a swimming pool as well as some hamacas. Breakfast is included.

The hosts are a very nice couple , very inviting and giving lots of interesting tips. They are open to discuss some cultural and political issues that gives a nice inside on the Mexican life .
The room and bathroom was spacious and perfect with airco if you want , also nice pool in garden to have a fresh dive , fresh free coffee available in the morning
Merida is a beautiful city to visit , ended up on one of the squares in the city where there were performances of life traditional music , local People inviting us to sit with them , was lovely till it started to rain …

It was our base for exploring Chichen Itza, the Cenotes and Izamal, but mostly we were there to attend a wedding.
Many good restaurants nearby. Progreso beach about 40 minute drive away, very lively like CopaCabana beach.
Uber easily available and very reliable and cheap

I loved walking around the Municipal Market (Mercado)...so much to see and buy there
Side trips to Valladolid and cenotes, and Xcambo and Xtampu were interesting and reasonably priced.
I also took a cooking class from Sofia at her home...a fun day with excellent Yucatecan food.

There are numerous sites to see in Merida, so book a stay that allows enough time to go on a few tours. I enjoyed the horse and carriage ride in the night - have a translator if your Spanish isn't good.
