Our stay at Hacienda Hotel Xcaret was extremely pleasant. The property itself is magical, set in the middle of the jungle, with plants lushly surrounding the area in a way that feels both natural and elegant. The pool is truly fascinating, like swimming in a natural pond. The quiet area is definitely a big bonus as well. We stayed in the Suite King Deluxe, which is very spacious and comfortable. It had the best shower of our entire vacation! The hosts were wonderful and very helpful in many ways.

The location was incredible! We were right on the water in a really special spot. We travelled as a family and it was so wonderful to spend such good quality time together. The neighbourhood that the hotel is located in is really a neat spot - full of all sorts of restaurants and things to do. We were equally impressed with the location of the hotel within the neighbourhood. The fact that it came with delicious breakfast included in the hotel stay was the cherry on top. We will definitely be back.

We loved staying here. It's just over an hour from Cancun airport but is a really quiet, relaxed place. I guess it helps that Puerto Aventuras is a secure resort with a security gate as the only entrance. The hotel is very clean and well organised. Our room was cleaned and tidied every day and we always had fresh towels and bottles of water left for us. We had breakfast included for a few days and it was also great, especially the buffet version at the weekend. They can make a cappuccino if you ask for it, otherwise you get regular filter coffee. We spent a lot of time at the pools and the beach and enjoyed the food and drinks available from the beach bar. The beach is fabulous, sheltered by the artificial barriers and very gently shelving out to sea. The snorkelling near the shore is ok, but is much better at the reef a couple of hundred metres out. There are lots of palm trees at the beach so plenty of shade if you want it. The loungers are free to use, just remember to pick up your beach towel each day at reception and return it later. The daybeds by the pool are also great for hanging out in. The nearby marina has a variety of restaurants so eating out is very easy. There are also a couple of bakeries/cafes just outside the hotel, which we enjoyed breakfast at a few times, and also a small supermarket just opposite the hotel which is great for getting snacks. There are also pharmacies dotted around in case you need them. The hotel can call taxis for you if you want to go anywhere. They arrive quickly. We went to Xcaret which took around 20 minutes and cost 400 MXN for the four of us, then about the same for the trip back after the evening show.

Absolutely stunning Villa in a beautiful location. The Villa is really big and the garden is spacious and quiet with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and a covered driveway. It's located in the Amares development in Xpu Ha which is huge and only a few houses are finished. There are smart Tv's in both bedrooms and a huge one in the lounge. Wifi is super fast. Hot water and showers all perfect. The kitchen is very well equipped with an oven, microwave and a kettle! (1st kettle found in Mexico!) The bed is huge and comfortable with great pillows bedding and extra blankets supplied which are fluffy and smelled gorgeous! The host/owner Ana was super fast to reply to messages and allowed us early check in and spot on instructions for access and location. Honestly, we loved the villa and would move there if we could! 😁
