We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Firefly Resort in Semporna! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was calm, welcoming, and perfect for relaxing. The resort truly feels like a peaceful escape while still being a great base for exploring the area. The breakfast selection was excellent, with plenty of choices to suit everyone’s taste. Every morning felt like a treat. One of the biggest advantages is the free shuttle to Semporna town, which makes getting around super convenient. To be honest, Semporna town itself wasn’t really our thing — but that made staying at Firefly Resort even better. Even if your main goal is to visit the nearby islands, this resort is the perfect place to stay: peaceful, beautifully designed, and very well located for day trips. In short, Firefly Resort is a true gem in Semporna. We would absolutely stay here again!

Very helpful staff who went above and beyond to help us with our trips and travel plans. They were so friendly and welcoming and we really appreciated staying in their homely cottage. The room was exactly as described and very clean with good facilities! There was a great selection of drinks and tasty coffee to access at any time.

Clean, spacious, quiet and peaceful, very comfortable . Away from the busy and noisy town. Just 10-15mins drive to semporna town. Nice breakfast, serving halal food. Helpful staff. Shuttle is also available, making it very easy for us to get to town for tours in the morning and come back in the evening. Supermarket/convenience store / food places are also just along the road. There's a seafood shop nearby "ikan bakar semporna" where the food was awesome at a decent price.

Everything was perfect. It was clean, and confortable, next to the bus station. The highlight was clearly Shida (the receptionist). She is a smiling and caring person. she answered to all our questions. Thank you very much
