NamibiaWe stayed overnight on our way from Cape Town back to Windhoek. Situated on a farm close to the centre of Noordoewer, the accommodation is comfortable with several lovely touches and attention to detail, including a Nespresso machine. The hosts are welcoming and friendly and the views are spectacular. They also offer braai packs and breakfast packs, which one can order in advance. I can highly recommend this as a great place to overnight on the Cape Town - Windhoek route.

You will forget the outside temperatures. They supply braai firewood, grills, and tongs to braai your meat. The Shell garage behind will provide you with supplies to cook, so have the ZAR or the N$, and you will be assisted. It was easy to pick up the keys and clean the self-catering unit, with Wifi for continuous connectivity. Comfortable bed, excellent shower. Kitchen had everything one needs for a one night stay. Perfect place before or after the border crossing. We were prepared for that. The air-conditioning worked and helped us to keep snug through a cold night. We were up early and at the South African border at 6 am, which led to a quick border crossing.
