A very nice town and great transportation to the National Park De Hoge Veluwe where you can pick up free bicycles for traveling in this nature reserve AND to visit the amazing Koller Muller museum with a beautiful modern sculpture garden and collection of Van Gogh and other painters.
The hotel was in a perfect location for visiting family who had moved to the area. The rooms were clean and comfortable. However the breakfast were too expensive for what was on offer, and we were charged everyday when we only had 2 days. When we querried it they refunded us, but only for 1 of us, so I need to chase them up on this at home. We were charged for the small plastic bottles of water in our room everyday which we thought were complimentary (no signage to say otherwise). No kettle, tea bags or milk in our room. Staff were extremely slow to bring us a kettle and extra pillows to our room, we asked 3 times over 36 hours!!! Eventually my husband refused to leave Reception until he had them in hand.
The room was smaller but quite comfortable and warm! On the snowy night we arrive it was very welcoming! It was a last minute decision to come and we were so glad that they even had a room for us! Thank you! Breakfast was off the charts good and the selection were all delicious!
A beautiful small city. Quiet, not crowded, yet a nice 'night-life' - not loud, but you can always find people go to out to a restaurant, or a bar. Pretty nice for city walks as well. Not far from bigger cities, as Utrecht, if you really want to party.
We called at Apeldoorn for a "family visit" and to see a part of the Netherlands we hadn't visited before. If we had had the time, we would gladly have stayed longer than the two days we did.
Great location for families and nature lovers. Lots of choices for lodging long and short stay's. The city is in a park-like setting. Great choice of amusement parks for families and children of all ages. Gateway to Natl. Park the Hoge Veluwe, free bicycle use, great van Goch collection (Kroller- Muller Museum).
This is one of the best hotel experiences I've had in the Netherlands. The room was decorated beautifully, and every part of the building had architectural 'moments' that put you straight in the 19th century, when Appeldoorn was booming for the first time. Highly recommend this gorgeous and friendly hotel for one of the most romantic stays you'll find in this part of the world. Super fast wifi as well. The staff are really friendly and made us feel very welcome and comfortable.
Apeldoorn
Lovely quiet location in a tree lined road, beautifully kept garden and well positioned for Apenheul and Palace Het Loo which are both within walking distance. If arriving by public transport from Apeldoorn station by bus , bus stop is a short walk to the property. Double room came with own sitting room complete with tea/coffee maker and well appointed en suite shower room. The hosts were extremely amenable and went out of their way to help when a problem (unrelated to property) arose.
Apeldoorn
Absolutely lovely people, very welcoming and accommodating! The rooms had a good size with a common breakfast area. The included breakfast was very good. The bedrooms and the bathroom were very clean. The location is perfect as there is free parking in front of the house. There’s a grocery store in 5min walking distance and the city center is also only 15min away by walking. If I visit Apeldoorn again, B&B Art Gallery will be the first choice again.
All the staff was very pleasant and helpful! The rooms were nice and the views were great. The restaurant for breakfast and dinner was exceptional. The pool and spa facilities were a nice amenity especially during the heat. They also offer plenty of leisure activities right at the hotel. I would stay again and recommend anyone else traveling to stay as well.
Hotel is located in the middle of Apeldoorn on a very busy plein. Easy to find and everything close by, including underground parking and bicycle depot. There is no lift and the stairs to the rooms are pretty steep, so may not suit everyone. The room was nicely decorated and comfortable and the facilities were perfectly adequate. Breakfast was good.
The tower room (4th floor) was fabulous. Almost 360 degrees view on the forest surrounding the hotel. Sitting in the living room, you just see tree tops all around you. Spa and gym were nice too.
The hotel was easy to reach with quite a nice walk through the city of Apeldoorn. Clean, spacious room, breakfast was good and the bed was nice. We had a lovely stay at this hotel.
Friendly staff! And convenient location, 20 minutes walk into town while really close to the woods. Parking is street parking right in front of the hotel. Good value for money.

The staff were very friendly. The place was large and clean. Wifi connection was strong and fast (38mbps). It was comfortably warm in the hotel. Good stay overall.
The staff was very friendly and the beds were pretty soft. The hotel lobby, breakfast buffet, and restaurant we're also good and looked modern
In general, this hotel has a lot of space in corridors and inside rooms. Modern design.
Wonderful hotel with friendly staff. The beds were very comfortable - always a plus.
