I booked the Hotel-Herberg D'n Dries for my family and I rest after a full day at Efteling Park. As we arrived at night, we couldn't enjoy the surrounding view of the hotel, but we noticed a view of the arena and horse stalls. The room was fantastic, really comfortable, and fully equipped. The hotel staff was kind. The breakfast was delicious and the restaurant area had a view of the arena and we could see the people riding their horses, the kids were amazed. Even though the room was upstairs above the restaurant, we heard no noise from there.

The staff was very friendly and extremely accommodating. I made a mistake extending my stay on the Booking.com site and accidentally moved the dates in. The manager contacted me as he was expecting me to check in that day and made arrangements correcting my error outside of the Booking.com system while keeping the same price overal as quoted originally. Also, I accidentally left the default of 2 travellers in the booking (I was traveling alone) and the manager made up the difference in tourist tax! As a result of their automated door keys (linked to the booking system), I was locked out at 10pm on the day I originally was planning to check out. Although the staff was not on the premises, after sending a text to the manager, within 5 minutes someone arrived and provided me a new door key! As a seasoned traveler, I rarely see this level of personal engagement, flexibility and accommodation!

The location is perfect. The hotel is situated to the national park and it is quite and very green. It has wonderful walking and cycling paths. It also has a river nearby that you can have your picnic or just walk and relax. The scenery is wonderful. It is not far from the town Drunen. You can go on foot in less than 15min. The hotel has also a nice restaurant with reasonable prices and very helpful personnel. The host is very kind and helpful.

An amazing place just in the woods of Netherlands. A very relaxing, elegant and comfortable environment with a very warm and welcoming staff. Even though the hotel was not really working during my stay, the staff has done all to make me feel comfortable. I have arrived late in the evening but they were waiting for and even ordered me a dinner. I was really positively surprised and strongly recommend the place.

It was very green around, location was nice and quite, the rooms are clean and even have a kitchen built in the room. There is enough parking space and the restaurant has great food! 2 min walk to go into the Loonse Drunense Duinen. Which is fantastic if you are a lover of nature and want to get some fresh air!
