Excellent hotel, we liked everything. Saw some famous dutch people. Junior suite was great, with a balcony facing the forecast and a lot of space. Note: hotel is not in a castle itself, it is in a building next to it. In the castle itself there is only breakfast place and a conference hall. Hotel had a parking, no issues with the car.

Providing all the comfort of a four-star hotel, this spacious room was very tastefully furnished, and was impeccably clean - not the tiniest speck of dust anywhere. The hosts were so charming our interactions felt like visiting family... like your favourite aunt and uncle. They even offered to iron my dress shirt right upon arrival (while offering cake and tea). Breakfast is served in your room at a time of your choosing. And as friendly as the hosts are, they will respect your privacy throughout your stay. With a large table, wardrobe and comfy chairs, the room was perfect for my business trip involving extensive laptop work. I almost felt it was a pity I was travelling alone, as - with its many lighting options, cosy bed, in-room shower and electric "fireplace" - it was certainly one of the more romantic accomodations I've stayed at. (As opposed to the shower, the toilet is in a separate room.) The room offers no view, as it is located directly at the end of a driveway, where a garage would be. But the blinds and curtain offer perfect privacy and, if you want, total darkness. And what's best: it's in an utterly quiet part of town, a small residential street only a 5 minute walk from "Vaals Busstation", where all the busses to Aachen and other places stop. Near this bus station, you will also find plenty of restaurants and grocery stores.

Amazing room, with bath with delicious smelling bath salts and candles. A very comfortable bed. Beautiful scenery and wonderful walks. Hosts answered our messages quickly and we had all the information we needed before we arrived. We also had a little visitor early in the morning :-)

Lovely, rustic setting with a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. We were greeted with a smile and made to feel welcome. The garden was great to relax in after a day of travel and the honesty bar was a welcome reminder of a society where people trusted each other. Breakfast was very nice, with a good selection of breads, cheeses, fruit and drinks.
