Had a great time at the hotel, super friendly staff and very pretty and classy inside. The breakfast was superb, and they even cook eggs/bacon/vegan/etc things to your liking. Also great coffee and espresso/cappuccino. The shower was also big and comfortable.

The property was located in a very nice and calm neighbourhood. The room was very nice and clean, the bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Location is alright, it's on a quieter street so there's not a lot of traffic. The parking mentioned is a garage next to the property, so you'll have a spot reserved at all times. The only problem is that it's quite narrow, so if you drive a bigger car chances are you won't be able to fit. The house itself is as described, a bit on the older side but there's a full kitchen, a giant bedroom and a living/dining room. It also has a backyard with space for maybe 6 people.

Amazing place, with all you might need. Very helpful stuff, always supportive: with check-in, prearrangements, gave me an umbrella to use during my stay:) I absolutely loved this place. You get the best from a private room + common facilities (fridge, kitchen, common area). A coffee machine in each room is a big plus.

The room was cosy with great natural lighting through two windows facing a garden and the back street. The in-room lavatory and mirror were a plus since the bathroom and shower were shared. The kitchen with microwave and hotplates and amenities was the right size for cooking meals and store food in the fridge. The breakfasts was excellent! Cleanliness was top at all times.

Mercure Hotel Groningen is next to the Martiniplaza event center, just off the A7 highway. It features an on-site restaurant, terrace, and private parking facilities.
