This hotel is in the same building as Stiklestad National Culture Center, 10 minutes’ drive from Verdalsøra and the Trondheimsfjord. It offers fine dining, free WiFi and free private parking. Quirky and modern at a really interesting location. Great place for the last day of our trip before headed to the airport!
Set in Straumen, Saga Hotell Inderøy features a bar, shared lounge, garden, and free WiFi throughout the property. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a terrace. A small hotel located in an old saw mill, great room and good beds. The owner was very friendly and the breakfast was very very good using , where possible, locally produced goods. Well worth the visit and we would be back again

The cabin we rented originally had the toilets outside and the bathroom shared but when the lady saw us with the baby she offered us a better room for the same price which was very kind. We were alone so the bowling was not open but the owner offered to cook if We wanted. We had a ok night but we probably won’t go back.
Set in Levanger, Falstadsenteret offers a garden. Private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. At the hotel, all rooms include a wardrobe. Very friendly, accomodating and knowledgeable staff. Perfectly boiled smiling eggs. The human rights center, museum and the Falstad monument made an impression.
One of the most relaxing towns I know of, but not a whole lot to do unless you’ve got strong ties to the town. If you know the town or just want to relax you could stay here for weeks, but if you’re only here for attractions and experiences one weekend will do. Shame the politicians are slowly killing the city center though, burrying it under appartments for elders.
Verdal doesn't have a lot to offer for the tourist....it is a place of convenience rather than for visiting in its own right. We based ourselves there and hired a car, taking us to other places of interest. It is easy to get about, with regular trains and the E6 passing through. It is very laid back, not commercial, and with only a small selection of eating places, but that didn't spoil our trip. Ideally, hire a bike and get cycling - there is some stunning scenery within easy cycling distance. We were in the area to attend a wedding, so didn't have time to go exploring too much, but will definitely return to the general Trondelag area again in the future.
