The service and experiences were amazing! The staff paid attention to every detail to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The guide on the safari was great. The food was excellent. We especially enjoyed walking with the elephants and the sundowners.

Spent wonderful night here. The lodge itself was well equipped with a porch to listen to the bird song. Truly lovely.
Resort organized safari tour for us. The safari was wonderful where we saw rhinos and plenty of deer but unfortunately not tigers. The driver and guide were excellent showering us with knowledge of the park.
We then we were invited to visit the lake with our guide to take a sundowner which was great fun and much appreciated.
In the evening we were invited to observe and participate with the local ladies conducting their stick dance which we thoroughly enjoyed whilst munching on popcorn and beer.

This property is beautiful and the surroundings near nature at its finest along the river. Excellent service from all staff, especially Tej, Alina, Krishna, and Nitraman. Beautiful pool and cultural programs during 2 of my 3 nights. Had 2 great massages at spa from Suzada.

Top notch, super comfy rooms (and trust us - we did a comprehensive research across all Chitwan hotels) and well maintained facilities. Can't emphasize enough how happy we were us to be able to take a very comfortable shower after full day of jungle activities. Jeep safari, River safari, Jungle walks were all amazing experiences - especially the Jeep safari! On one full day safari, we were able to see 20+ rhinos, countless deers and peacocks and langur, the famous wilf elephant Dhurbe, a sloth bear, and even a tiger from a distance! Our guide Roshan has sharp eyes and went out of the way to look for animals that we wished to see - we saw many animals that we wouldn’t have been able to spot without him. Food was also top notch (beat 90% of resort food almost everywhere) - amazing fried rice and love breakfast that was different everyday! The sundowner watching rhinos from afar was also an unforgettable experience.
Thank Sanctuary Chitwan team for taking great care of us. We will definitely revisit if we are back in the region to see more rhinos! Meanwhile, highly recommend Sanctuary to anyone who is visiting Chitwan :)

Bishnu and Saoru manage a wonderful homestead site with several units for guests. They are now the caretakers of the site that Bishnu's father originally built in the 1980s. It has amazing charm and is located immediately next to Chitwan National Park. You can do multiple types of safari tours and are guaranteed to see lots of wildlife. The food the family prepares is amazing, and they will help you with any arrangements you need. Highly recommended.
