Situated between the pub and stop off point for the rail trail, it was ideal for the end of a big day. Hosts were very welcoming and even advised about ordering our dinner ahead of time so it would be ready when we were. The food in the pub was outstanding and it was great not having to go far to roll back to the cottage. The accomm is a converted railway workers cabins, it’s rustic but cosy. Your hosts Grahame and Liz are brilliant and very welcoming, they love a chat and are very knowledgeable about the area. Everything in the cottage is brand new and to a high standard. Very well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable self catering stay.
