We chose this accommodation after reading the reviews and did not regret it at all. The host, Naser, was extremely gracious. We went in with our rental 4WD and got a little bit stuck on the way to the campsite but Naser gamely helped us get 'unstuck' and guided us on how to drive through the journey. As we were the only guests, he offered another tent for no extra charge, which we declined as we wanted to spend the night together (family of 5 adults). The tent itself had comfortable beds and a private bathroom which contained the basic utilities, but wow, the experience of showering under the open skies was so unique! We took up the sand dune bashing and ride to see the sunset, which was incredible and highly recommended. Nasr also took us to see his farm animals including his pregnant camel, which delighted my daughter (a vet student). The catered food was amazing! We had a typical Omani dinner of rice, bread, salad and roasted chicken with an amazing sauce, and breakfast of eggs, sausages, fruit etc which were very yummy. Free flow of dates and Omain coffee. After dinner, the 2 staff lit a campfire, where we gathered round and sang campfire songs just for the fun of it. All in all, this was one of the best highlights of our 9 days Oman trip!

The tents are very authentic, the beds are big and comfortable. The place has a beautiful setting in the desert. We were welcomed by dates, coffee, fruits. We ordered a dinner, which was really delicious and rich. Also, the breakfast was a traditional arab pancake, absolutely tasty. You need a 4 WD car to get to the camp, but the host can pick you up at a designated location.

The accommodations were not only comfortable but also thoughtfully designed, providing a perfect blend of comfort and authenticity. What truly stood out, though, was the team’s expertise in curating unforgettable desert experiences. I still remember the aroma of the zaatar ☕️ tea. Dinner and breakfast upon your request and the quantity was generously enough. I highly recommend to anyone seeking a unique and enriching desert getaway. This place gave us most memorable and special experience!! The staff are super nice. Since it’s private camp, so only maybe 10 families live there, when we have meals together, travelers from different countries all like friends, so cool. I like the breakfast and dinner. We booked the most expensive rooms in this camp. They are exceptional.

‏+ Everything was just perfect. The place is amazing, the staff so incredibly friendly. We were explained by a really amazing Bedouin guy loads of things about their culture and life in the desert. Loads of conforts which nearly sound like sci-fi, like being able to take a shower in the desert and charge your phone via Usb. The included breakfast was abundant and really top quality. We had an amazing day there! I would give 11 out of 10 if possible.

    We got transport organised from Muscat to the camp for a very good price. Great people working there, sunset ride and camel ride was great, we were taken care of! We can definitely recommend!

    The desert camp is well located to see the extraordinary beautiful sunset. The camp tents are big and comfort to shelter 5-6 people with open sky showering room. Delicious Omani dinner with loads of fruits provided and we specially like the Omani tea and coffee. Camel ride and sunset ride on a 4-wheels car are great experience too.
