recently stayed at Cabañas Cerro Azul Panama on the lake and I must say, it was an incredible experience. The location of the cabins right on the lake is breathtakingly beautiful. The view from the cabin was simply amazing and provided a perfect place to relax and unwind. The cabin itself was cozy and charming, with all the necessary amenities to make our stay comfortable. The bed was incredibly comfortable and we slept like babies every night. The bathroom was clean and well-maintained, and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our own meals.

The location is perfect, especially for travelers flying in or out of Tocumen International Airport – it’s super close and very convenient. Despite its proximity to the airport, the place is peaceful and quiet, which made it easy to relax and unwind. The property itself is very clean, well-maintained, and beautifully decorated. The room was spacious and comfortable, with excellent air conditioning, fast Wi-Fi, and everything I needed for a pleasant stay. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches like snacks, toiletries, and helpful local tips. What really sets this place apart, though, is the warm and personalized service. Joselyn went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed and even helped me arrange transportation. He is an exceptional host who genuinely cares about her guests’ comfort. I highly recommend Chelox Panama Airport to anyone visiting Panama City, whether you’re stopping over or staying longer. It’s a gem of a place with amazing hospitality – I would definitely stay here again!

Señora Lilia is always a welcoming face. Her facilities are impecable, convenient and comfortable, especially for a solo female traveler, looking for a safe and quiet place close to the airport and metro line. I loved being in a real authentic Panamanian neighborhood, with diverse ethnic groups living side-by-side getting along, beautifully. My host furnished my adorable, cozy, well-decorated studio with top-of-the-line coffee, toiletries and amenities. He was super hospitable and quick to respond with directions, info, quick repairs, etc. I slept very well on the cimfortable bed. I especially loved my private garden area which has a koy fish pond in the center. There were pets (2 dogs) at the entrance gate but they were not vicious and they were quiet during the night. The dogs are not where the studio apartment is located. No bugs were in my room! And the pets/ dogs did not bark throughout the night. I would definitely stay here again, especially if I need to be close to the Airport.
