We stayed here for about a week and had a great experience overall. The hotel isn’t directly in the city center, but it’s about a 10-minute walk downhill to the historic area. Getting back up can be a bit more challenging, and taxis aren’t always immediately available, but it’s manageable. The owners were incredibly responsive and genuinely welcoming throughout our stay. One detail we really appreciated was that if we let them know ahead of time, they would prepare a snack box for us when we had early tours. That level of thoughtfulness made a big difference. Our room appeared to be recently renovated and was in excellent condition. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. The shower had consistent hot water with good pressure, which is always a plus. It is a cold place so there's no air conditioning because it's always colder than 60°F but they have a great deal of warm blankets and heaters upon request (at an additional cost). Overall, it’s a very pleasant place to stay with attentive service. The location may require a bit of planning for transportation, but the quality of the stay and hospitality more than make up for it.

Staying at Hotel Cusco Plaza Saphi was a wonderful experience. The hotel was not only clean but also very relaxing, making it feel like a step back in time. The decorations and the old structures around the hotel added a special charm to the stay. The two girls at the reception were friendly and did their jobs very well, always ready to help with a smile. Overall, the atmosphere of the hotel, combined with the helpful staff, made for a memorable visit.

I had an excellent experience during my stay. The rooms and common areas were very clean, which made my visit comfortable and enjoyable. In addition, the staff was extremely friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with any questions or needs. Their commitment to providing quality service is evident. I would definitely recommend this accommodation and would gladly stay here again. Thank you for everything!

The balcony suite was fantastic with lots of room and amazing views of Cusco below. Staff was super friendly and breakfast was a nice fruit spread with eggs. We felt the beds and pillows were comfortable. Firm but supportive and a right amount of plushness

Super friendly staff, such a unique accomodation and a great location being just a short walk from numerous points of interest in Cusco (sacsayhuaman ruins and the main plaza). Staff were also super accommodating with our middle of the night check in and took great care of our luggage when we left in the middle for the salkantay trek. Would highly recommend

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was clean, as was the bathroom, and the breakfast was delicious. It’s a 10 to 15-minute walk to the Old Town. The front desk staff were very friendly and helped us book a taxi. I’ll have fond memories of our stay here - I highly recommend it!
