The host, Armanda, went way beyond all expectations to help us and make us comfortable. We were on the Camino, and my wife had a fall. The room was just brilliant, 5+ star level. Breakfast was generous and exceptional standard. Her home is too beautiful to behold very modern and so impressive.

The owner was fantastic on our arrival considering everything was fine in sign language as she doesn’t speak English. Very generous with tea and coffee supplied along with a beer on arrival. Great room with a shared bathroom.. others were very considerate which was great. She recommended a restaurant close by. Not a pilgrimage restaurant but a seafood one.. amazing.. some of the best seafood we’ve eaten in 6 weeks in Portugal.. advice- buy one small portion and share.. so much food
