Very nice host and super quiet and relaxing garden. Recommended!

Sensational setting, amazing backdrop. Felt like you were back in time while having the most modern comforts. The food and drinks were spot on too.

Nice breakfast. Great location. Very lovely staff.

We originally planned to stay for just one night, but ended up extending our stay by two extra nights. That says everything about how much we enjoyed Casa do Juncal. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of the old town, surrounded by beautiful historic streets and full of character. The house itself has a lot of charm and authenticity. A special mention goes to the lovely ladies serving breakfast every morning. Their service and friendliness made the experience even better. Breakfast was excellent, with freshly prepared eggs and bacon as well as delicious mini pancakes made to order. The S Suite was extremely spacious and very comfortable. The mattress by Pikolin deserves praise too — one of the best mattress brands on the Portuguese market and often used in five-star hotels. Airco was very quiet The garden is another big plus, a perfect place to relax and enjoy the evening atmosphere after exploring the city. We will be definitely going back
