Great beds, balcony and pool allowed us to rest up nicely before the next day of our Camino trip. Big shoutout to the host, who let us use the microwave and prepped a table for us so we could have a decent meal.

This exceptional accommodation was built in the 17th century and retains so many of the original features. it is right on the Camino. The staff were friendly and helpful and both dinner and breakfast were delicious and plentiful.

Super host! Ideal stop. Rooms are clean, cool and comfortable. With a beautiful garden to relax in after a long walk. Home made dinner with vegetables from the garden was delicious. There's a snack shop and well stocked fridge of refreshments in the kitchen. Vila Nova de Cerveira is a must on the Camino. Thank you Michaela!

I am so grateful to the lovely family who run this albergue because it was a truly wonderful stay. So much so that I was seriously considering staying another night. It is maintained with such care, attention and love and it's a Camino pilgrim's DREAM, like a "5 star albergue" for a very decent price (especially if you phone directly. And Patricia speaks Engish). The huge terrace with the gorgeous view is delightful, the kitchen clean, modern and spacious and the tea and coffee an added bonus. The beds are new and comfortable and you share a kind of cubicle with one other person (and my neighbor was a joy to meet). NB It's a great option if you're walking through Caminha too because the public albergue there had been full when I arrived. So I took the train only one stop to Seixas (no ticket office or machines so buy your ticket on the train and pay €1...if a collector comes) and walked 40 mins back to Caminha the following morning. Donna Nega albergue is just a few minutes' walk from the station, with bars, restaurants and a supermarket on the way.

A beautiful and comfortable house in an excellent location. The house was a real treat for us - 3 friends walking the Camino. We had a very nice room each and could wash and dry all of our clothes. The owners were able to come and meet us early. The kitchen was well equipped and the house was warm. Highly recommended.
