Charming premises, wonderful views, excellent restaurant - catering also for vegetarians. Amazing breakfast buffet! Staff very friendly and helpful, giving very excellent advice about food and wine choices. Enjoyed the massages offered in SPA facilities. Excellent location to visit Conimbriga roman villa site as well as the local museum on Romans, which is perfect for kids, but also has lot to offer for adults.

Everything about this hotel was excellent. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The host was amazing, very welcoming and helpful. She gave me fruit and snacks on arrival. It’s a bit off the Camino but worth the detour as it’s easy to get back on the path in the morning. Would definitely recommend.

The two stars under rates this hotel. The outside is old school and may come across outdated but the room was lovely, modern and very comfortable. For the location, great value for money. The breakfast area is small but other than that it’s overall really nice.

The romantic atmosphere from old times style, the location is fabulous and staff is amazing. The architecture of the building and the wooden details of the decoration and furniture. Going back to Coimbra means staying back at this hotel.

Breakfast was really nice, modern clean hotel, nice rooftop. In the center of the city

The rooftop terrace is amazing and the breakfast room also offers wonderful views of Coimbra. The buffet breakfast was generous and tasty The hotel is in a quiet area, close to good restaurants, quaint streets and yet only a very short walk to the railway station.

The owner, the staff, the location, the breakfast. EVERYTHING!

I really liked the location of the place because it was right in the middle of everything I wanted to see. It made getting around very easy. I was also very thankful for the help from the staff, they were friendly and helpful throughout my stay.
