Sparkling clean, helpful staff, attached restaurant

Clean. Property seemed new. It is a family owned and run hotel and the service was excellent. Room was comfortable, and they will even wash your clothes for a small fee. Great for us Camino pilgrims. Beatriz was helpful offering recommendations about restaurants and things to do.

Superb! Super clean, quiet, great pool and a jacuzzi ready waiting for us in a private terrace in the room. Mariam was really nice and we had a great breakfast.

Location is excellent, close to everything!! Our room is cozy and comfy. Staff are very welcoming and friendly!

Location adjacent to good family restaurant. Auberge close to purchase Camino passport. Across the street from Fortaleza de Valença: Baluarte de São Jerónimo - not to be missed & has restaurants.

Lovely setting and very swanky hotel. I enjoyed the quiet special salon when it wasn’t full of a group of hikers

Close to center of town , clean and the girl at check in was great

The hotel is recently renovated. We had a corner room with 2 large windows and one with a Juliet balcony which opened up to the street inside the old city. It was very quiet at night. There is a common room with sofas, coffee and tea. It’s a beautiful hotel. The front desk service was excellent-we were able to check in early. I would definitely book again.

This beautiful, historical hotel was built in the 1700s. The staff was warm and friendly and very helpful with directions and arranging transportation. The hotel was spotless and decorated with original furniture. However, the room furnishings were new and comfortable. We were in the top floor suite. It’s the only one on the floor and had a queen sized bed, trundle bed and chair that opened to a bed. The breakfast had fresh fruits, breads, cheeses, meats, cereal, yogurt, coffee, tea, fresh squeezed orange juice, cakes, and pastries. The location is excellent, less than 5 minutes to the town square where the community gathers in the evening. Many restaurants to choose from. Easy walking to historical sights, parks and trails. It’s located on the Camino. I recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

Great service. Excellent location. Very quiet and great view. Fantastic staff.

It was so neat to Camino very clean

The property is clean and good instalations. Offered an upgrade to the room. Vera good Service. All the Employees are sympathic and usefull

It’s friendly staff, great fresh food, classic charm and very clean rooms. The staff spoke limited English but we are visiting their country. Google translate was very helpful. Great food at the restaurant. Short walk to town and hilly. Overall, perfect hotel to begin our journey as pilgrims.

Great location, breakfast included, parking lot available.
