I so recommend the hotel! We got an upgrade to a suite. We had beautiful view on the ocean, the room was spacious and always clean. The Staff was professional, always helpful and nice to all their guests. They surprise us with little gratitudes - snacks, drinks and in general tips how to see Madeira best. We used both swimming pools, jacuzzi, tenis court, and meals were tasty! Thank you!!

Choosing this hotel turned out to be a very inspired decision. The rooms were very good, the bathroom was spacious, everything was clean, and the breakfast was diverse. It is also very close to the old town and the port. The staff were amazing and helped us when our flight was canceled by quickly arranging a room where we could stay. Fortunately, we found another flight on the same day, and the fact that they did not charge us was an extraordinary gesture of empathy.

Hotel decor is old style but food is amazing in the main...

Hotel decor is old style but food is amazing in the main restaurant with excellent staff always at hand to assist. There is a shuttle bus to town of Funchal extra bonus. There is gym, games activities etc. I think they are going to renovate the hotel next year. Overall I really enjoyed my stay and I would go there again.
