We used the convenient self-check-in option, which was quick and easy. Despite our early morning checkout, the hotel kindly prepared a special breakfast for us, showcasing their excellent service. Solar de Santo Andre is beautiful and historic. The location is fantastic. I have a wheat allergy and was offered special gluten free bread and cookies at breakfast. The breakfast was delicious! I stayed in the blue room and it was very comfortable. I enjoyed exploring the various rooms of the manor too. Eduarda was wonderfully helpful via WhatsApp. She helped me arrange an early check in and booked my taxi to the airport. I managed to lock myself in the washroom right before leaving, and Eduarda responded to my text and sent help within two minutes! Betania checked me in and showed me the house. We communicated via google translate, but it worked really well! Betania is very kind and helpful. I highly recommend this!

Location, service, breakfast and interior was really great. We were a bit disappointed because of the cleanliness - the floor was dusty and we found hair in the bathroom which didn't belong to us :) But it's just small details. Summed up, everything was just great.

I loved the stay at A-Típica Guesthouse. The hosts were really nice and helpful couple, there was a tasty breakfast served every day (included in the price of the room). Guests may eat inside or at a little patio. Our room was on a top floor and it was cute and well furnished, we shared the bathroom with another room, but there was no problem with that. The whole place was very clean and comfortable to use.

Wonderful hostel! Rooms are comfortable and cozy, the common kitchen is convenient to use. The hostel is located just in the center of the city with grocery stores and restaurants around. The port and the ocean are in 7 minutes by walk.
