The food was amazing, the service was lovely. Everyone was super kind and we really felt welcomed. It doesn't feel like a typical hotel with a big hallway and everything fancy, and we missed nothing. We even loved even more the picturesque vibes it gives, and how it blends into the mountain landscape. One of the top moments was the picnic 🧺 we ordered as an extra to take to our hike in the mountains 👌🏼

The room was extraordinarily large. Without the view of mountains but really nice. It is great that this hotel offers wellness as well but to be honest it is not worth it. Saunas were turned off and the surroundings around the pool weren't very clean. Breakfast were delicious

The property was comfortable with so much attention to every detail that could add to comfort- comfortable beds, thick plush towels, assorted pillow styles,, heated towel rack. It was very quiet, & set in a beautiful garden. I am here in early spring with only a few blooming plants, but i can imagine it will be spectacular in full bloom. Isabel was so kind & went way beyond what i would expect to be sure everything was perfect for my stay- she even called a nearby restaurant to be sure they had outdoor seating & that my dog could go along. I felt like i was staying with a friend! I will definitely be back

This is a truly special hotel in an amazing location. Every detail is considered, from the room design, the textiles (wool of course!), the meals, the spa, and the service. Found this place somewhat randomly and spent 3 night in their basic rooms, with the deck. The architecture, interior design, food, and most importantly service were impeccable and very high value for the money we spent. Especially the staff.. they went above an beyond to make sure you felt welcome and pampered. Great location if you want to spend a bit of time away and up in the mountains (hills) of Portugal. Highly recommended. p.s. We did make a stop for dinner at the higher rated (5 star) hotel owned by the same group. This location compared to that felt nicer. Both the interior design and people felt a lot warmer here.
