Valença is a lovely town half of which is still inside the fortifications. The restaurants and shops are friendly and accommodating the views from the fortress are beautiful. A word of "warning" the food is amazing and the portions HUGE!

Central location within the fortified town of Valença. Comfortable room either spacious bathroom… common kitchen area with everything you need including automatic coffee machine. Met the very hospitable owners who were keen to make our stay pleasurable.

The hotel is old, but spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, nice open view of the fortress, within a short walking distance. The man at the reception was kind and helpful. I enjoyed my stay. Maybe the noisy main road outside contributes to the one star?

Very nice hotel, immaculately clean, comfortable and cozy, for a stay for travelers in the area. Cozy, warming room, comfortable bed, hot shower, simple and cozy. For us, the most important thing is the attitude towards those who walk on 4.

the place is a bit remote, more suitable for people who come by car than for a camimnho. but otherwise excellent. jose and his family were very nice and help ed us. although the hotel is located by the road it is very quiet.
