West Plaza Hotel at Lebuu Street, Garden Palace Downtown Koror, and Palasia Hotel got great room view-related reviews from travelers in Koror.
I loved staying in Koror, the people are very friendly and the nature is superb. It is however very expensive and it is not easy to find places where you can hit the water to swim or kayak - without going on a tour or staying on a expensive hotel.
It's a good place with lots of lovely areas to visit. Great for diving, snorkeling and kayaking. Although there are lots of dive sites it is hard to find dive shops that will take you to wrecks. Most of them go to the most famous dive sites every day (Blue hole, German channel etc) Some good restaurants too such as The Cove, The Drop Off, Fisherman's Grill and Elilai.
A gorgeous island where the people are welcoming. I wish I had seen more of it. We were on a dive trip. We had a incredible time but we were so tired at the end of each day our last day we decided to rest and stay at the hotel, The Cove, witch was beautiful and relaxing.
If you are looking for a snorkelling paradise the Palau is the place. I’ve been to a number of South Pacific Islands and this is certainly one of the best. Its extremely safe and has a laid-back Island feel. The snorkelling is first class and the jelly fish trip is a must. We went on our tours with Fish and Fins Diving, they exceeded our expectations, very professional and great to deal with
Koror was amazing! The diving was great, we use Sam's tours and they were fantastically professional and helpful and kind for our very first dive. The snorkeling was amazing, we were able to see over it reef sharks and Jellyfish lake and all sorts of amazing experiences that you would think not available in snorkeling. The waterfall and it's hike was spectacular! The culture is fantastic, we were able to see a canoe like in Moana in real life and watch it sail and we could have sailed on it, but we ran out of time. The museums were very informative, and for the most part of the people were fantastically friendly and kind and helpful. We loved the Gelato place and wished we found it earlier - we ate there every night after we found it! The Taj restaurant was super tasty and fantastic ambiance.
Renting a car worked out fine, as the tours are very expensive. Landtours can easily be done independently, since there are but a few roads and very little traffic. Booked a private boat for one day and went to 4 snorkelling locations and jellyfish lake. Getting around without a car is difficult, but no problem if you book tours for every day, since they will pick you up. There are hardly any beaches at the main islands, not suitable for beach vacation, great for snorkelling and scuba diving
Koror
We had very comfortable bedrooms that overlooked the beach and sea/lagoon. All extras you would expect from a luxury hotel: coffee making facilities, fridge, robes and slippers, balcony etc. The beach is very nice and the pool a good size. Nice to have a games room with pingpong and billiards as well as small gym. The staff on reception were all excellent: very friendly and helpful: thank you Mitch, Jean and colleagues.
Koror
All the staff were friendly. They made the utmost effort to make sure we were not inconvenienced. Breakfast was always served neatly, and the cleanliness of the room was excellent. Cart service, especially, was the best service for me with a knee injury. If we come back to Palau next time, we will come back to this resort.
.I love the interior of the hotel and the warm southern comfort feel that the hotel gave off. The room service was amazing and the personnel was extremely polite. The hotel staff was amazing and very courtesy. They by far have the best breakfast on the island. I love the kitchen staff.
Koror
This is great place to stay. Hotel had private beach and you can rent snorkel gear if you want to hang out. Transportation to airport was arranged ahead of time and it worked out great. AC worked well and breakfast was good. Staff was very helpful and I would come back again.
Koror
Staff was friendly, enjoyed the access to the kitchen and lounge. Very helpful in booking activities and cars for things around the island. Good WiFi in central area. Clean rooms, hot shower. Nice area to dry dive gear off outside.
This is a lovely small hotel in the center of Koror. The rooms are large, modern, and very clean. Breakfast on the upper patio was excellent. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.
Koror
Breakfast was flawless in terms of quality and variety. The resort is the only one in Palau with a lovely sand beach overlooking a bay with a small house reef. Great sunsets!
The hotel was free of Covid-19. Staff took precautions to sanitize the common areas & provide alcohol gel to guests in hotel lobby. Great front desk staff.
Koror
Very quaint property, set in the hustle of Koror state town. Had the most enjoyable experience. Facilities and service far exceeded my expectations.
Many different restaurants were within walking distance of the hotel. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.
The reception staff was very prompt even though i made my bookings just 30 mins before arriving at the Hotel.
