A very pleasant and quiet little town, with the hotel located right in the center. There is free parking nearby and a bar on site. The owners are extremely friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was excellent — generous, high-quality, and with a great selection of options. The concept of the themed rooms, each representing a different era (1950s, 1980s, etc.), is really interesting. Every room is designed according to its period, using premium-quality materials and finishes. It is clear that the owners put a lot of effort, thought, and investment into this project. The surrounding area offers beautiful mountain views and plenty of interesting places to visit. This is definitely a place worth staying for 2–3 days rather than just passing through.

Very beautiful view. The food (you can additionally book dinner and/or breakfast at the property) was homemade, fresh and delicious. The owners are very friendly and care about their guests. Good location for hiking and climbing at Cheile Turzii which is around 2,5 km away.

The Trusko Resort was such a pleasant surprise to discover and stay in. It is set in a beautiful scenic area, it is extremely modern, clean and beautiful. The walking trail to Piatra Secuiului and Coltii Trascaului starts right behind the resort. Zsolt is the owner of the resort and was extremely friendly and helped us with everything we needed to have a wonderful stay. So were all the resort staff. We wanted to climb the mountain and Zsolt showed us an app called Mapy, which helped us keep the right direction to get to Piatra Secuiului. The view up there was fantastic, one of the most beautiful views in Romania. We will come back in the future to stay at this resort, at least for a week.

Gyönyörű lakást kaptunk a vendégházban, amelynek az ablakából a Székelykőre lehetett látni. A szobák tiszták és jól felszereltek voltak, még hagyományos, festett fabútoroknak is jutott hely. A személyzet minden kérésünket teljesítette. A reggeli jó volt. A szállás kb. két perc sétára található a főutcától. Külön pozitívum, hogy a gyerekek részére rendelkezésre áll egy kisebb mászóka, csúszda és hinta is a kertben, amivel órákig elvoltak.

What a beautiful region! The house sits in a lovely valley looking towards the karst cliffs. The house is equipped with everything you need to cook. The water in the shower was hot. The wood burning stove was very comfy for someone like me who doesn’t have one at home. Falling asleep to the crackling of the wood was comforting. I slept well both nights I was there. It was cozy and cute. There is a market just a few minutes walk away. It has meat/eggs/bread/limited fruits and veggies. They also accept cards. The access to hike Piatra Secuiului is easy. Just walk a few minutes through the town and you are on the trail. There are trails and an old fortress on the other side of the valley that you can see once you start hiking. I only stayed two nights, if you wanted to do a longer stay it seems like there are ample hiking opportunities. The hosts were both friendly and welcoming.

A nice and cozy apartment with a beautiful view of the mountains from the patio. Everything was very clean. The optional breakfast (40 lei per person) was delicious and definitely worth it. The owners are very friendly.
