Constanța is a beautiful city with great potential. Its strongest assets are the abundance of trees, the presence of lakes, and, of course, the sea — which brings a unique atmosphere. Constanta is a town of historic interest, situated along a coastal route once contested by Greeks and Romans ( there is a wonderful open exhibition, with many pieces from archeological finds, in the town park ( off Tomis Strada ) ...along with information of the Greek fortress that once guarded the port). The historic town square is an airy spot to enjoy the sea-breeze and enjoy al-fresco dining outside any of the many quality brasseries and bars. Boring city compared to 10 years ago. Clubs have disappeared, Taxi`s still trying to cheat you. Mamaia in regress. Water quality on the beaches still dodgy.Food,prices and service questionable.
