We really enjoyed our stay! The room was clean and comfortable, and the whole place was well maintained. Breakfast was varied and tasty, with fresh vegetables from their own garden – a lovely detail. We also had dinner at the local restaurant, and the food was excellent. There’s a spacious garden area, perfect for relaxing or letting the kids play and run around. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend!

the location is excellent and at the very beginning of the transfagarasan highway. rooms are very clean and brand new (modern style) and had everything we needed and more: slippers, detergent pods for the washer, clothes drying rack, etc. (not to mention the washer was actually easy to use!). the host was incredibly helpful (and bilingual english/romanian). he answered all my questions very quickly, and recommended good food in the area; in fact he partners with a local who delivers home-cooked food in glass containers for a very affordable price, if you want. as a romanian myself, i can attest that she cooks amazing traditional food. my partner and i went for a walk in the village in the evening and everyone said hello, kids were playing in the street, even dogs were friendly. i seriously cannot recommend this place enough!

Accomodations were top notch. Great view of the mountains, clean, great starting place for the Transfagarasan journey, super convenient having the kitchen on the property. Had we known it was such a great place, we would have booked for an extra day or two. 10/10
