Everything is perfect about this place. This is third time I stay at Calm Sorento . Owner was too kind and he had availability to let me check in early on the day of arrival. It doesn't matter if you stay sea facing room or backside. The hidden gem here is that the rooms are part of a huge floor with an open terrace that every guest can use and sit. So we spent most of our time after beach on the balcony overlooking the sea. Wifi is very fast and in every area of the floor there's connection. There's common kitchen, AC in every room, fridge, So everything is clean and well maintained. we didn't need anything.

We had a wonderful experience at Lllot Beach Chalet in Seychelles. The owner, Owen, is such an amazing person and incredibly helpful. The location of the hotel is incredible—it’s almost like having a private beach all to yourself. We visited as a family of nine with children and had a great time swimming and playing at the beach. The rooms were clean and had all the amenities we needed, including a dishwasher, washing machine, and dryer. The two bedrooms had queen beds, with an extra bed in the second room. The terrace was spacious, with a dining table and lounge chairs to relax in. The hotel’s location is also very convenient. There’s a bus stop right next to the hotel that goes to the city center, and a supermarket within walking distance where you can buy almost everything you need. For those evenings when you don’t feel like cooking, Hotel Bliss is just an 8-minute walk away and offers wonderful views and meals. Owen also cooks an excellent barbecue dinner with grilled fish and chicken on lazy evenings, which was a highlight of our stay. Overall, Lllot Beach Chalet is an amazing and peaceful place to recharge. We absolutely loved it and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a serene getaway.

Glacis is divided into a number of smaller beaches, framed by cliffs and shaded by trees. It offers great snorkeling where you can see lots of fish and even sea turtles. Swimming shoes are recommended as there are some rocks along the beach.

Without a rental car, exploring Mahe Island is pointless.

Without a rental car, exploring Mahe Island is pointless. Taxis are expensive, and bus transportation is a disaster. I don't recommend cycling or walking due to the lack of sidewalks and roadsides. Many paved public roads on the island have gradients exceeding 30%, so it's better to rent a car with an automatic transmission.

There's not much to eat in Glacis.

There's not much to eat in Glacis. The best dining options are in Beau Vallon, about 20 minutes away. Victoria isn't much either. The location is convenient for accessing the island's main attractions, but the truth is, the island is small and you'll be fine almost anywhere you stay.

You really feel like home there. Aileen was Most charmant Lady and Raj was always helping in every situation. The chicken Curry was delicious. Car rental was easy managed by the hotel too and they have a shutter service to take you and pick you up from the main road.
