We liked everything about the hotel. Staff members were really helpful and professional. The room exceeded our expectations. We went to Seychelles to celebrate my birthday and hotel surprised happy birthday wish letters made with flowers in the room. Thank you to chez Marston staff members. Also the hotel give us the new renovated rooms which was extremely nice and new. Hotels has lots of potential once all the rooms are renovated. At midnight if you come out the room and look up the sky you will see sky lit up by stars which was so beautiful. Location is perfect as you can rent a cycle and go right side one day and other side next day as the hotel sits right in the centre. Hotel owner even gaves a ride to ferry port after checking out on the buggy. :-) Breakfast was nice. Food were good at the restaurant as well especially the Fish and Chips.

Mountain View Hotel, Hotel Chateau St Cloud, and Hotel L'Ocean got great room view-related reviews from travelers in La Digue.
We have visited 3 islands - Mahe, Praslin and La Digue. We would not return to La Digue, Mahe and Praslin are much more recommendable. Anse Source de Argent and Anse Patates are very scenic, great to take pictures, but very hard to swim (stones and corals, need for special shoes), flat waters. Grand Anse is better to swim (we had big waves during our stay), but not really scenic. Best beach on Seychelles - in our opinion - Anse-Lazio.
Unique island vibe, very friendly people (local and tourists as well), plenty of food options (shops, take-aways, restaurants). Recommend to rent bicycle and go around island to see all the beaches and spots. On the other hand a lot of running constructions, so I hope this island will keep its atmosphere forever :-)
It’s a beautiful island with stunning beaches , forest and giant tortoises. However it’s overpriced and overall service is of a low standard many times slow with no smile or no interest to make customer happy . It’s hard to get a good clean food . There are some nice takeaways though and lovely people who try to do their best but it’s not a majority . Many shops have no prices on items . Water is not potable and the cheapest price for 12 bottles of 1l is around 15 Eur . It’s not good destination for snorkelling as corals are very damaged and majority is bleached . Nevertheless it’s advertised as a place with stunning corals so we felt cheated when we discovered a reality of a reef . It’s still possible to see some sea animals like turtles , sting rays , tropical fish but not in abundance. We dived as well 2x but as we didn’t like much diving and they seem to us overpriced (220 for 3 tanks ) so we didn’t do more. I personally prefer Indonesia or Maledives for snorkelling or diving . Trips are also extremely expensive - such as 70 Eur for half day of snorkelling trip . It’s a small island and transport is mainly by bicycle (it’s necessary to pay attention at lorries and taxis when cycling ) Overall, I think it’s good to visit for beach and nature lovers , max 1 week . It’s not good destination for snorkelling. We stayed 12 days- it was too long . It’s nice to see beaches but we wouldn’t return .
La Digue is an absolute paradise. White isolated sands, turquoise sea surrounded by lush greenery and huge granite rocks. The locals are extremely friendly and the shops, restaurants are a joy to spend time in.
La Dique is totaly different and special place in Seychelles. We came back after 10 years and is still beautiful. You can rent bike (150 rupies per day) and driver around whole island. Giant turtles you can meet in many places in nature, park.. feed them with fruits banana and they will walk by you like a dog:) My small kids love it Enough good restaurant everywhere..
La Digue was a great place to visit. Bycicles were easy to hire, which is an asset if wanting to explore the island. A street map would have made it easier for navigating... although a small island, it was easy to lose direction in the suburbs. A map indicating safe beaches available within easy reach of the Main Street would have improved our stay. The beach we cycled to, (approximately 45 minutes of up hill cycling) had ‘dangerous for swimming’ signs. Beautiful non the less!
La Digue
Everything. Hosts were friendly, polite, helpful. They are always there for you and helping at anything you need. Villa is quite, relaxing, beautiful. You can breathe peace over there. Breakfast is delicious and complete and well served. You can rent bikes directly asking to the owners and they will bring them into the Villa. At the end of our stay in La Digue, they helped us to carry on our suitcases to our next destination. Thank you very much, you totally made the difference and made our trip unforgettable!
La Digue
If you are visiting La Dique (or the Seychelles in general) you will not find a better apartment! The host and the whole staff is just pitch perfect! Helpful, kind and proffessional! We arrived as guests and left as friends! A place is spacious, clean and very well equipped not to mention that lovely tropical vibe! The Location is great the jetty is in walking distance and anything you might want to visit is a few minutes bike ride away. Its not 10/10 its about a 100/10… We will come back!:)
La Digue
This was the best place for us on La Digue. The garden is impressive, the chalet was very spacious and nice, beds are very comfortable. The communication was very good, arrival easy. The place is close to the jetty, restaurants and shops (if you use bicycles). Good access to both sides of the island. The beach nearby is scenic. The bicycles can be rented at the property. Ours had some issues but got replaced very promptly. Thanks a lot for a late check-out! Thanks for a wonderful stay :)
La Digue
We rented the full villa (that is probably much better option). We liked the space in the villa itself, privacy, nice garden. Villa is very clean and well equipped (including AC working well) and has a very nice kitchen and living room. Location in calm part of La Digue with good bike access to each corner of the island (shops, take-away's, restaurant within 10 min biking). The Owner and "VillaKeeper" Manuella took really good of us care during our stay. Thank you!
La Digue
The host Agnes, herself is a very warm and friendly person. She made us feel comfortable and relaxed. We were in the Sapphire cottage which was very nicely furnished. The breakfast was good with fresh fruits, coffee, omelet etc. The photos doesn't really show the beauty of the property and the facilities, but we were pleasantly surprised. The Wifi service was the fastest we have seen in our stay of 8 days in Seychelles.
La Digue
Best accommodations in Seychelles so far and we’ve been to 5 star hotels. The rooms are beautiful! Spacious and well equipped. The garden surrounding the rooms is breathtaking and the location is great - couple of minutes walk from the ferry terminal and next to restaurants, takeaways and mini markets. Above all - fantastic hospitality by Costas, his family and the crew. if you’re in La Digue - this is the place for you!
La Digue
Very friendly, helpful and nice staff and the lady owner, beautiful garden and surroundings of the house in which we stayed, everything is clean, regularly cleaned and maintained. Very near from beach. Thank you very much for your understanding with the canceled stay of our friends who could not arrive due to a canceled flight. We would love to come back to you in the future if we ever visit Seychelles-La Digue
La Digue
La Digue is the best island of Seychelles. Wonderful beaches and nature. You can see big turtles walking around. And Pension Michel is the place I would definitely recommend for a stay. It’s clean, excellent breakfast with fresh local fruits, wonderful garden. Staff is kind and hospitable. The place is within walking distance of the ferry terminal and the best beach on the island.
Compared to other hotels and accommodations in La Digue, Le Repaire is definitely one of the most high-end destinations. We enjoyed our room due to its generous size, lovely balcony and pleasant interior. The in-house restaurant is also very good and the staff was overall friendly despite being a little slow at times. Cheers to Marco who has been very welcoming.
La Digue
Doris and Charles are wonderful hosts. They really make you feel welcome and the place instantly feels like home. Fantastic location, not far from the port but quiet and set in a beautiful lush garden. Breakfast is very good, and the dinner was excellent (the best Octopus curry we had in Seychelles). Can't wait to visit again!!!
Excellent location, quick access to the Anse Patates beach. The room and washroom were quite spacious. Staff was very helpful in arranging a snorkelling tour and went above and beyond to arrange our transportation back to the ferry from the hotel.
La Digue
We had a wonderful week here. We loved our enormous room, fantastic shower, tasty breakfasts and warm hospitality from the family. On our last night we were invited to a complimentary dinner, the best food we had in our 3 weeks in the Seychelles.
La Digue
Beautiful villa, extraordinary views (pay extra for upper apartment), host is great, friendly and always helpful. The food has been the best throughout our whole stay in Seychelles! Absolutely amazing stay, hope to come back one day.
Thanks Natasha and everyone else for being so accomodating, friendly and helpful. Pick up and drop off to the jetty was really appreciated. Made for a comfortable stay and memorable time at La Digue. Hope to be back!
La Digue
Great location, nice to have bikes right on the property. The hosts live there too - so that was helpful. It is a good value for La Digue where so many properties are higher priced and not as nice.
La Digue
For us this was the best accommodation in Seychelles. This business is run by a family and they are all very nice and ready to help if you need anything. We would go back definitely.
La Digue
Nice host she’s so kind Very close to the beach and anywhere in ladigue with cheap bike rentals was my best stay so far in Seychelles I’ll be here again
What a lovely place, on the loveliest island in The Seychelles! The room is clean and the breakfast delicious!
La Digue
