The pension is located 10 minute drive from the main entrance to the Slovenský raj National Park. There is a train (like those small trains for kids in parks, that runs on the road and has three small cars) that stops right next to the pension and takes passengers to and from the National Park. Gabriella, the owner, is a wonderful person and most helpful. She recommends the most interesting trails in the park, prepares delicious dinners, and helps in any way she can. My room was convenient and had everything I needed. There are tables under a pavilion in the back yard, where one can sit, play, and work.

The location is quiet and close to hiking trails starts. Beds were comfy, accommodation clean and well equipped. There was one kitchen to share but it was enough. We had fridge in our room with basic kitchen equipment. My biggest surprise was shower - it was clean, functional with good pressure of water and it did not take ages for warm water. Owners were really friendly and helpful. There are few food stores nearby, post and restaurants to eat.

I loved everything about my experience here. Pavol, the owner takes immense pride in this place and it shows. He is a genuine, kind and generous person who honestly cares if you are taken care of. I’ve been to places all over the world and this is my favorite place, hands down? Why? The amenities are many (the infra red sauna and hot tub to watch sunsets are two) and Pavol is excited for you to enjoy the labors of his work. He even helped me plan my day at the park and made sure I found my way. This was a special experience. I absolutely recommend this place.

Spacious and cozy apartment with high quality interior. We loved the soft light floating bed. Peaceful and quiet neighborhood, except for the construction sites. Majority of the apartments were empty. There were automated wind blinds and good AC. There is an outdoor gym, playground and a BBQ spot.

    These clean and modern apartments are stunning.

    These clean and modern apartments are stunning. They are equipped with everything you need for a comfortable self catered stay. The host left lots of personal touches which were very much appreciated. We chose an upstairs apartment for the balcony and a better view. This was the case, however there is still a lot of building work being carried out opposite which kind of ruined it. The check-in was easy and explained well via a message. But unfortunately because this address isn’t registered on Google Maps yet, it’s a bit difficult to find. It is actually down an unmarked gravel lane. Easy once you know this, but the host didn’t mention this beforehand. The area its self is perfect for exploring the National park. We did one of our walks from the apartment it’s self. The apartment is going to be part of a holiday complex which will be very luxurious when finished. I think that it is reflected in the price currently charged (unfinished). We really enjoyed our stay here. Thank you.

    Hrabusice is an excellent base for hiking at the Slovensky...

    Hrabusice is an excellent base for hiking at the Slovensky Raj or High Tatras. It is also close to many historical sites. We loved staying at Ubytovanie at Emka. It was our second time in three years. It is a short walking distance to Restauracia u Hudaka that serves freshly cooked delicious meals at a great price.

    Lovely walks.

    Lovely walks. Nice to be able to sit outside the cottage in the evening, the picnic table available to each cottage is a nice touch. The water was always hot for a shower. Windows were very secure for the solo traveller. Local restaurants very nice. A pity the info centre was closed for September.

    The accommodation is super cozy, spacious, fully equipped with all facilities a visitor might need which aren’t included in any hotel. Also it’s very charming with its local interior design. We got welcomed very warmly and got some helpful touring information about the park. Probably one of the best resorts in the region!

    Superb location near the northern entrance of the Slovensky Raj National Park. Stylish interior. Very friendly, kind and helpful staff. The hotel was silent and peaceful: we enjoyed it. The room and bathroom were clean and well equipped. The overall service of the hotel scored well above the one star level.
