Room: Extremely clean and spacious. The terrace was a really nice bonus. The bed was very large and comfortable. The towels felt like new towels. Hotel: Well equiped, with large fridge downstairs and a nice kitchen. Location: Very close to the starts of some of the best hiking trails in Slovakia (e.g. Zelene Pleso = 13 mins). In a very quiet village. Facilities: Parking is right in front of the property and very convenient to use. Personel: The owner was extremely friendly and the check-in was very smooth. Extremely kind and helpful human.

This was my second stay (because I really enjoyed my first stay) and once again - an extraordinary experience which would not be possible without the passionate approach of the host. I travel frequently and I have stayed at numerous locations and this place rates among the very top on my all time list. It is a very nice and cozy place with spacious common area that has a fire place, homy decorations, jacuzzi, sauna, pool table, whiskey bar, wine bar. Almost anything you can think of is there. The breakfast with home made warm strudel in addition to wide variety of hams, sausages, cheese, bread, yogurt, vegetables, eggs, jams, freshly baked bread...etc. simply all the great stuff. And the host - Michal was super nice and helpful in every aspect of our stay. Thank you and I am sure I'll be back because this place and the host are truly outstanding.

Our stay at Villa Holiday Tatry was nothing short of fantastic. We booked a room for our family with one child and were pleasantly surprised by the ample space provided. The room boasted both a double and a single bed, perfect for our needs. The room and bathroom were exceptionally spacious, providing us with plenty of room to move around comfortably. Additionally, having access to a communal kitchen on the ground floor was a huge convenience. While shared with two other rooms, it was well-equipped with all the necessary appliances and dishes, making meal prep a breeze. The added bonus of having our own fridge in the room was a nice touch. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep for all of us. Overall, we felt right at home during our stay and will definitely be returning in the future.

Excellent property in Vysoke Tatry, easy access by car, very friendly owner. A great place for families with a special game room with toys, high chairs, cribs. I definitely recommend and will be be back.

    Nova Lesna is The Perfect Place to stay when you want to...

    Nova Lesna is The Perfect Place to stay when you want to visit the High Tatras. It is close, it has great value for money and has some really beautiful places to stay at with spectacular view. I have been here twice so far but definitely will come back every time we want to go hiking in these beautiful mountains. The train is close by and quick, there are shops here and so many options to choose where you want to stay.

    It is a small village about 10 min by train from Poprad or Stary Smokovec where the mountains start. There are trains at least once an hour in each direction. Clean, very quiet and with a beautiful view of High Tatras. As it is a little village it is hard to find many shops and restaurants there. The nearest supermarkets are Billa and Kaufland near the Poprad station. There is a nice local vine shop in the village and a slovak cuisine krčma (tavern).

    Cozy family-operated hotel, exceeded the expectations. Hostesses were helpful, breakfast simple but tasty. The common area was not used much during our stay, so we felt like we have half-a-house for us :) Our small furry friend was accepted and accommodated as well. Location is comfortable if you have a car and drive it to trails / lifts and back. If you intend to travel carless, this location is not super friendly.

    The Hosts were very welcoming and kind. Considering even that we were few hours later than planned, Host still welcomed us with a smile. Location was easy to find and parking was right under our balcony. Breakfast was really good, everything was tasty and fresh. Interior of the hotel and our appartment felt really solid and expensive, everything was clean. Really calm atmosphere. Good for family with kids.

    The location is great. Can see the mountain range and 30min drive to hiking start point. Very good husband and wife running the hotel. Helping to find any information about trails and they offer good food. There is a small supermarket behind the house-back yard. There is a fridge and cutlery including plates Electric kettle If needed, they will provide a mini cooker too. Cleaning is good.
