I liked how the frontdesk staff Latoya received me with kindness and big smile. Also that she showed me the room itself. Something that I've never experienced at no other hotel while travelling. And the housekeeping staff which her name is Christena Rodgers, went well above and beyond her effort for keeping everything nice and tidy. I appreciate it very much. I loved the location which is close to every supermarket, restaurant, bar and nightlife. Also the surroundings was quiet that I was not bothered in no way. I would definitely come back to St. Maarten and stay at Bakers Suites, my home away from home.

The location was reachable to wherever you may want to go. There is a bus stop at the road head which takes you to both Philipsburg and Marigot on the French side. I used the bus to visit all the areas and places I wanted to see only for $2 for each journey, and you get to blend in so well with the locals. They are open for a good chat. Everyone says good morning and good afternoon as you pass them. There are so many things I can talk about but space to write here is limited. Overall, the Island is very beautiful and worth the visit. I would go back and stay again at Carl's Unique Inn. The owner is a very nice gentleman, very mannerly and approachable, always ready to assist. The best breakfast ever, freshly made sandwiches each morning upon your request. The Island is hilly and I loved it because walking up and down the hills naturally did good for my heart and body each day. Very wonderful beaches. Also, while on the island, you need to visit the nearby islands too.
