I am considering retirement in HY and this first stay was a real help to decide. I really like HY. There is so much I haven't seen on this trip but I will return in a couple of months. BOLT is a great way to get around, average journey price 55 baht (april 2025) BOLT drivers are amazing, you can have a car turn up in 2 minutes and be on your way. The selection of food in HY is off the scale. I have not met one person who was unkind or rude. Lots of places to visit and reasonable rates. Great choices for food with delicious, fresh street food to great restaurants - choices to fit different budgets. Great for family vacation as it is more than just a place to shop. With the hot and humid weather, best to dress with light clothing. Good place to visit.
Good place to visit. Many good places to visit in Hat Yai and Songkhla. Gooden Statue Mermaid, Stainless Steel Temple, 4-Face Buddha, Floating Market etc. Foods are good and very cheap. If you're looking for a family friendly location, affordable, plenty of local night markets, a convenient location and relatively close to necessities, Hat Yai would definitely be a choice to consider. Anyway, tuktuk is just 20baht per pax and is easy to get. The hotel is relatively new compared to the hotels around lee garden. Cleanliness is good. Welcome snacks provided when you check in. There is water dispenser provided is every floor. The sound proof is okay at least i didnt hear any complaints or noises. Oh not forget to mention the banana milk across the hotel is delicious!
