Simply the best hotel we have ever stay at. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast great. Had a Cobb salad for the first time in the restaurant. Woukd highly recommend it. Mae Pin is a weekend gathering spot for local Thai families, and this is possibly one of the things we liked most. There are plenty of small canteens and bar/restaurants, from the most humble BBQ barrow to the more international choice. You need to bear in mind that the beach stretches for a few miles, and that it is a great experience to just be there, walk along the shore, feel the wind and hear the waves. Yes, it can be quite windy in the rainy season at least, but we never found it a problem. It added to the charm.Guest review byJorgeSpain - 10.0

Stayed at the Poem hotel. Excellent hotel very comfortable and very nice people. Mae Pim is very nice. Good beaches and clean. Across from the hotel many good restaurants as well as a sea food market with fresh daily sea food which can also be cooked on site. Also many seating areas along the bench. The pool overlooks the beach and one can just walk down to it. It's not crowded..just the guests at the villas mostly. We booked the deluxe villa..it was lovely, spacious and had a great bath tub to relax in. The pool area and restaurant are the best. And conveniently located near to so e great seafood restaurants.and bars and convenience stores and massage center. The bed was super comfortable and the shower warm and strong. The facilities were also excellent with a beautiful clean pool, great sunbathing areas and a first class beach. There is also a very good cafe at the apartment block with lovely staff. Mae Pim is pretty quiet and a little rough around the edges but does have charm.
