The location is so beautiful and peaceful. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. Lucky, the owner, has done such a fantastic job with this place and she’s an amazing cook. We really enjoyed staying here.

If you'd like a unique Thai experience, then NaPaHong is for you.  We asked Na to be in charge of all of our (vegetarian) meals, and she did a wonderful job, including always having great snacks for us, tasty innovative dinners, and taking us to local eateries.  During your stay, you will encounter few tourists of any kind (whether foreign or local), and this made our whole visit seem extra special. We did not have a vehicle and hired Hong to be our driver (at a very reasonable rate).  Highlights of our four-day stay include: a rugged hike right from the door of NaPaHong to the nearby mountain; a boat ride on a gorgeous lake over a "sunken" village; picturesque hot springs; a huge, gorgeous Chinese Buddhist Temple complex; and the local Phrao market.  Na's English is quite good, and she and Hong really made us feel welcome.  They like becoming friends with their guests,  and this certainly turned out to be the case for us.

The Yatika Boutique is a gorgeous property with luxurious rooms and a welcoming, relaxing atmosphere. The staff were as lovely, friendly and helpful as can be including those who work in the wonderful restaurant.

I`m personally attracted by hotels in a natural setting. Royal Ping Garden is one of those. Few hotels can claim to have a genuine natural environment including the sounds and scents that are part of that. The well designed wooden lodges are tasteful and attractive. The rooms are comfortable.

Doicherngngam Home stay provides a public bath and free private parking, and is within 25 miles of Elephant Nature Park. This homestay offers a garden and a terrace.

The view was facinating! Probably the best you can have in Chiang Dao and surroundings. Just as the hospitality of Mr. Su Chin and his wife, we really felt like family which was precious. They served us very generous breakfasts, changed terrace carpets, gave us extra blankets when it was cold, and in general took care of every detail or request. As they speak little English, they use Google Translate to communicate, so understanding is not a problem, and even fun. The homestay is surrounded with their own huge garden and has only 5 bungalows, so it's beautifully quiet and green. Very clean, including the area around and all the facilities. Hot shower, an electric kettle, a big bottle of water and 3-in-1 coffee to start the day. Definitely recommend it, this is the place, vibes and the view we travel for.
