A very nice family hotel right next to the Selimiye Mosque. The rooms are modern, new, spacy and very clean. You can take off your shoes and walk around on the clean carpet as if you were at home. Beds with clean sheets are comfortable. The refrigerator in the room is filled with water. The bathroom has everything you need. Cold water, tea and coffee are also available at the hall outside of your room. While you eat your freshly prepared rich and varied breakfast made by the hotel's owner Kadir and his hard-working wife on the terrace, you can sip your tea served to your table by the extremely polite and helpful Hakan. The hotel does not have a private garage, but you can park your car in front of the hotel, which is recorded by camera 24/7. The hotel surroundings are clean and safe at the heart of Edirne city center. We would like to thank the hotel owners, Mr. Kadir and his beautiful wife, who are always friendly and helpful, for providing us with such an environment. CAUTION: Sometimes Google Maps fails to find the shortest way to the hotel. Take the D100 from E80 if you are driving from Kapıkule. Change to D535 from E80 in case you are coming from Istanbul.

Everything was more than perfect in the Alan Suites Hotel. The cleaning was flawless, the breakfast had a variety of delicious food for every taste and the staff was very kind and helpful. This is a very old crossroad, market city.

This is a very old crossroad, market city. There are many historic sites to visit but they are mostly mosques. If you are into shopping - this is fine place for it but be prepared for big brand knock-offs everywhere. Traffic can be ridiculous.

The location is great, close to markets and main pedestrian area with shops. The rooms are renovated, clean and cosy. The stuff is helpful and kind. Parking in front of the hotel was guaranteed. Although the hotel is in a busy area, and kids are playing in a yard outside and the birds are non-stop singing in all the trees around, actually the stay was nice and peaceful. We will visit again and bring our friends for sure.

The city has a lot of history, 17 battles took place here.

The city has a lot of history, 17 battles took place here. Unfortunately not much is preserved today. During my visit most of the historic sites were closed for restoration. The ethnography and health museum were interesting. The local food is very good and affordable. You can walk around everywhere, city is full of tourists.

Helps you understand the history of the region a bit better. The famous mosque by Sinan is amazing from the outside.. However the inside is under repair, you can't see much and it looks like it will take a few years to finish..

You must try the food and visit the hammam next to the...

You must try the food and visit the hammam next to the Selimiye Mosque. You must also visit the Mosque itself, the Complex of Sultan Bayezid II Health Museum and have a walk around the town. Don't be fooled by the "low prices". They are not low anymore. If you want to buy a good value for money products go to the large supermarkets. Don't buy cheap items from the local street market. Most of them are not good at all.

If you drive by Edirne, you should consider this hotel as its offering a qualitative stay with comfortable rooms. The breakfast was also really good and fresh with quality ingredients. Additionally, I would like to highlight that the kind lady at the reception upgraded us to business rooms for free. The parking area is secured with cameras which is great if you don‘t want to park your car anywhere else.

This is a family run hotel. You are welcomed very warmly. Service is personal. We were allowed an early check-in and late checkout. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The breakfast terrace has a lovely view. The hotel is very central with easy access to the center of Edirne. The rate is affordable. The complementary coffee was delicious and we received a gift on departure.

Best place for stay if you are in Edirne, Friendly and very helpful staff ! We have a pleasant stay and everything was perfect. Close to hotel there are a good restaurant and bakery. Free of charge parking is available. In the morning we have so delusions breakfast and a sweets like a compliment from the hotel. It was fantastic stay in the Alan Suites! Thanks!
