All the restaurant staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The setting was magnificent and shops displayed their products enticingly. Gocek was lively when we visited at the beginning of September and livelier that I had expected, i.e. music from various venues competing with each other. Great range of restaurants and we had good food at all the restaurants we visited. Göcek is peaceful small seaside town with lots of yachts/bouts at marina and nice restaurants/shops/supermarkets But we stayed outside Göcek in a village close to Imlice public Beach which doesn’t have all those facilities but has authentic charm of Turkish countryside. Though there is an easy minibus travel 7-10 min to Göcek from the Bucak Apart Hotel It is better go rent a car to be able to move around in the heat season.Guest review byOlenaUnited Kingdom - 10.0
A very scenic place and great for boat trips.
A very scenic place and great for boat trips. It could also be combined as part of a two centre stay with Dalyan or other nearby towns. It's the most expensive place I've been to in Turkey and you have to be careful when selecting a restaurant or you could end up paying London prices! The boat trips were good value though, and included a lovely meal. If you go to the Sunday market, be sure to haggle as they will try and rip you off.
