Turunc is a small port, mainly used by UK tourists plenty of restaurants, but as everywhere in Turkish coast very similar menus. English breakfasts available in many of the restaurants. Beaches are small, sunbeds/parasols mostly free if you buy refreshments onsite. Pebble beaches. Recommend the "Can" restaurant for food quality & friendly service. Note the road in/out is with small hairpin bends to Marmaris, approx 30 minutes drive to Marmaris. Water taxi's daily every 2 hours to Marmaris approx. 1 hour travel time.Therefore you need transport to travel around Boat tours to turtle beach and Kings Tombs recommended. Ancient village Amos is 2kms walk with Ampitheatre. Beautiful views. Very picturesque village, only bars, no nightclubs in Turnuc. More older public here.

Turunc is a great little place. Perfect size.
Turunc is a great little place. Perfect size. Plenty of restaurants and bars. Some really nice places to eat. Good range of well stocked supermarkets. Boat taxi to Marmaris. Day trips on boats where you can swim. Not too brash, lively enough for us. Friendly people, many spoke English. Great views of the mountains. Nice beach.

A very chill little fishing village that has been turned into an equally chill little resort town. None of those annoyingly huge resort chains there, mostly boutique and B&B's dotting the beaches which make it perfect.

Turunc is a little oasis of tranquility on the busy Marmaris coast. The crystal clear turquoise waters and the dramatic mountain backdrop make the place very unique. There is a handful of restaurants, shops and bars, a kids playground and public and private beaches in town, all accessible by walking. Turunc can be accessed by a steep and rather dangerous mountain road by car or bus from Marmaris; alternatively, there are boats that charge 3 Eur per person and the journey takes around 50 minutes.BeataUnited Kingdom - Scored 1010

The clean beach and sea. Superb selection of restaurants. No hassle in shops. Everyone friendly. No need to drive. Incredible countryside and wildlife beyond. Boat trips along the coast are one of my big favourites staffed by locals, knowledgeable and courteous.

The hotel was clean and the view was spectacular from the restaurant and the pool. However, facilities were old and not up to 4 star hotel standards. Not having wifi in rooms is not acceptable. Besides, the shower head was broken. The water was coming out thin and sometimes became too hot in the middle of shower. I also felt not providing soft drinks or even water during dinner was stingy for a 4 star hotel. Come on! Just at least make the filtered water available for dinner just like you did it for breakfast. However, the meals were generally nice and the variety was good. If you decide to go there by car, please be careful while driving cuz the curves are super sharp and Turkish drivers love speeding. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend the hotel if you have minimum 4 star level expectations.SoyhanJapan

It’s a ten minute walk to the boat taxis and any bar/restaurant. Front desk staff were great, really helpful and spoke English. The rooms are gorgeous, great gym, breakfast was varied and delicious. The pool area is stunning with lots of loungers and the beach area is also lovely. All round it’s a great place!SarahSouth Africa

Stuff was super friendly, we felt like being at home. Ilker, the owner, has even made sandwiches for us as we were leaving to the airport very early. Our rooms were cozy, clean and we had everything we needed.
