The property is lovely. The staff are so accommodating. Excellent food. Amazing service. Too much money and I hope that they can help the maasai community more where the lodge is located. They receive no benefit from giving up their land for the lodge to use.

Location, location, location. The view of the crater is unbeatable, and there aren't too many spots left on the planet where you can see stars (and beyond) like you can at Ngorongoro Serena. Service and food quality and variety was excellent, and to top everything off, I found my vehicle, which was covered in two week's worth of mud, sparkling clean the morning after our arrival.

The staff was absolutely amazing! Super friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond with everything… teaching us about the area, took us for a walk to the school the lodge is building in the village, practicing Swahili with us. The property is so lush.
