Central.y locate and very helpful staff

Pleasant and helpful staff. We arrived before the scheduled check-in, and the room was available before: very useful. The location is excellent: very close to UC Berkeley, BART station (Downtown Berkeley) and a grocery store (Trader Joe's). The room was equipped with a coffee maker and a microwave. The price was also less than in the surrounding hotels.

Nice comfortable beds, clean room with a wonderful view of the bridge (not the famous one!) and the parking was right outside our window. We didn't try the breakfast so can't tell. Many nice places nearby within 5min walking distance to grab something to eat for lunch or dinner. The location is absolutely perfect no matter how you wish to go downtown, that was the main reason we chose it in the first place. By car you are ideally located with free parking spot, and the bus station is right across the street. Made our visit carefree and allowed us to enjoy our staying there with no additional worries.

This is our second visit to the hotel. We got a bigger room than our first and it was very comfortable. We found the fridge leaking the next day and asked the staff to fix it. It was fixed immediately. Many restaurants nearby and the hotel is just 10-15 min away from Berkeley. Very nice stay.

Excellent stay this time~)) Check in was very easy; the receptionist simply gave me the key card for the room to check in then I am in. Room was big & clean, I really liked it even on the 8th floor~! Location is central right in the heart of Oakland by 12th st & Broadway. Just have to be careful walking at night sometimes because there are barely anyone walking on the streets here. Best restaurant here especially at night is the SHOOTING STAR CAFE that opens till midnight! They've got not only Chinese delicious dishes but also some western sandwiches as well as other western food! Nice! Bed was very comfortable to stay in. The AC in the room is very useful especially during the early morning when it's very cold. Overall, very nice! Love the Christmas Tree decoration too!

Nice and welcoming check in with Eric, great service and atmosphere at Henry’s. Graduate theme, do not disturb flag, nice touches. Right in the middle of the Cal atmosphere, great hotdog around the corner at Topdog, one block to the campus… wonderfull!

We had a really pleasant stay. The location was good and the staff were really courteous and kind. The room was well appointed and comfortable. It was quiet as we were on the top floor and we didn't experience any noise from other guests in neighboring rooms.

You can always rely on the standard for Hyatt hotel. I gotta say a hotel with adjecent parking in Berkeley area is rare and just so convenient for guests. Plus, Carlos is so helpful to solve my extended one night stay without changing the room and we really appreciate it.
